Account & Security

Change your password, what to expect from two-factor authentication, and how to permanently delete your Creator or Brand account.

Changing Your Password

Go to Settings → Security & Login (/creator/settings or /brand/settings). A Security Score bar shows your account's security percentage based on a short checklist (password set, two-factor auth).

To change your password:

  1. Current Password — "Enter current password."
  2. New Password — "Min. 8 characters." As you type, a strength meter fills in five steps: Weak, Fair, Good, Strong, Very Strong.
  3. Confirm New Password — "Re-enter new password."

Click Update Password (shows "Updating..."). If the new passwords don't match: "New passwords do not match." If it's too short: "New password must be at least 8 characters." On success: "Password updated successfully."

Two-Factor Authentication

The Security & Login page includes a Two-Factor Authentication card marked "In the Works" (part of Zylolo Forge). It shows an "Enable 2FA" toggle — "Add an extra layer of security to your account" — but the toggle is currently disabled while this feature is being built.

In the meantime, the strongest thing you can do to secure your account is use a long, unique password (aim for "Strong" or "Very Strong" on the strength meter above) and avoid reusing it elsewhere.

Deleting Your Account

At the bottom of Security & Login is the Danger Zone. Both Creator and Brand accounts use the same 3-step confirmation before anything is deleted, accessed via the Delete Account button.

Step 1 — Acknowledge what's deleted

"The following will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. Check each box to confirm you understand:"

  • Creators:
    • "My profile, campaign history, and all submitted deliverables"
    • "My payout history and wallet balance (any pending payouts will be cancelled)"
    • "My connected social channels, analytics data, and media kit"
  • Brands:
    • "All campaigns, briefs, deliverables, and brand content history"
    • "Wallet balance and all payment/invoice records (pending payouts will be cancelled)"
    • "All team members, their access, and all automation rules"

All boxes must be checked before Continue is enabled.

Step 2 — Confirm your identity

"Enter the email address associated with your account to continue." Continue stays disabled until what you type matches your account email exactly.

Step 3 — Type DELETE

"Type DELETE in the box below to permanently delete your account." A short countdown ("Please wait [X]s before confirming...") must finish before Delete My Account becomes clickable — it then shows "Deleting..." while it processes.

On success, you're signed out and redirected to the login page. The action cannot be undone.

Settle payments first For both creators and brands, deleting your account cancels any pending payouts. If you have money in escrow or awaiting withdrawal, resolve those first — see Wallet & Payouts (creators) or Wallet & Finance (brands).
