Events: Invitations, Registration & Deliverables
Everything about brand event invitations — from responding to an invite, to registering, to submitting the content you owe for the event.
Event Invitations Overview
When a brand invites you to one of their events (a launch, meetup, shoot, or similar), it shows up
under Event Invitations in your Creator sidebar
(/creator/event-invitations). This page has three tabs:
- Pending — invitations waiting for your response (accept, decline, or negotiate).
- Attending — events you've accepted and are registered for (or still need to register for).
- Past Events — events that have already happened, or invitations you declined.
Each invitation card shows you everything you need to decide quickly:
- The brand's name and details, plus the event title and date.
- A deliverables summary (for example "2 Reels + 1 Story") so you know what content you'd be expected to produce if you attend.
- The RSVP deadline, shown as a countdown ("in 3 days", "tomorrow", "today"). The countdown changes color as the deadline approaches — it turns amber within 7 days ("soon"), red within 2 days ("urgent"), and is marked overdue once the deadline has passed.
Responding to an Invitation
From the Pending tab, every invitation card gives you three ways to respond:
- Accept — confirms you'll attend and takes you straight to the event registration form. This button is disabled if the RSVP deadline has passed, or if you already have a counter offer awaiting the brand's response.
- Decline — opens a short reason field. Telling the brand why (schedule conflict, compensation, location, etc.) is optional but helps them plan better for next time, and moves the invitation to your Past Events tab.
- Counter Offer — if the compensation the brand offered doesn't work for you, use this instead of declining outright. Enter the amount you'd want and an optional note explaining your reasoning, then send it. The invitation moves to a "countered" state while the brand reviews it — you can't accept or decline again until they respond.
Viewing Event Details
Click View Details on any invitation card to open the full event page. This is where you'll find everything the brand has shared about the event before you decide or prepare:
- About This Event — description, date, and what the event is for.
- Content Required from You — the exact deliverables expected (type and quantity), so there are no surprises later.
- Brand Guidelines — tone, messaging, and creative direction the brand wants you to follow.
- Required Hashtags — tags the brand needs included in your posts.
- Additional Information — any extra notes from the brand (dress code, schedule, etc.).
- Location Map — the venue location, so you can plan travel before accepting.
- Your Invitation — a summary of your current RSVP status and compensation terms.
Completing Event Registration
After you tap Accept, you'll be taken to the Event Registration form
(/creator/event-invitations/:id/register). The brand uses this information to handle
travel, accommodation, and on-site logistics for you, so fill it in carefully:
- Personal Details — your full name, phone number, government ID type and number, and emergency contact name and phone. Required for venue security and travel bookings.
- Travel Details — whether you're travelling from another city, your arrival city, flight preference, and your departure / arrival / return dates. The brand's events team uses this to arrange or reimburse your travel.
- +1 Guest — if the event allows a plus one, you can add their name, phone, relation, date of birth, and government ID details.
- Preferences — dietary restrictions and t-shirt size, so the brand can plan catering and merchandise.
- Consents — any consent checkboxes required by the brand for participation, filming, or data sharing at the event.
Once submitted, you'll see a "You're Registered!" confirmation screen with a QR code — this is your check-in pass for the event, so keep it accessible on your phone.
Using the Event Hub
Once you're registered, click Open Hub on the invitation to enter the
Event Hub (/creator/event-invitations/:id/hub) — your one-stop workspace
for everything related to that event, organized into tabs:
- Overview — shows three widgets: Event Details (date, venue, description), My Registration (a recap of what you submitted), and Event Support (who to contact if something comes up before or during the event).
- Logistics — your Travel Arrangements: flight details, return flight, hotel booking, and airport pickup information once the brand's team has arranged them. This tab updates as the brand's logistics team confirms each item, so check back as the event date approaches.
- Deliverables — a shortcut into the Deliverables page for this event, where you submit the content you owe.
Submitting Your Deliverables
The My Deliverables page lists every piece of content you agreed to produce for the event (for example, a Reel, a Story, or a Post), each shown with:
- A type badge (Reel, Story, Post, etc.) showing what kind of content is expected.
- A status tag showing where it's at — for example pending (not yet submitted), submitted (waiting on the brand), approved, or rejected (needs changes and resubmission).
To submit, paste the link to your published content (the content URL) into the field on the deliverable card, then click Submit Content. The button stays disabled until you've entered a URL, so you can't accidentally submit an empty deliverable.
If you have no deliverables for an event yet, you'll see a "No deliverables yet" message — this usually means the brand hasn't finalized the requirements, or you haven't completed registration for the event.
