Brand Messaging

Chat directly with creators about active campaigns, send a broadcast to everyone you've hired on a campaign, and what happens to chats after a campaign ends.

Messages Overview

Messages (/brand/messages) is your inbox for direct conversations with creators. The left side lists every conversation — search with "Search conversations..." by creator name or campaign title. Each row shows the creator's avatar, name, a campaign tag if the conversation is tied to a specific campaign, the last message preview, a timestamp, and an unread badge if there's something new.

If you have no conversations yet: "Conversations with creators will appear here once a campaign is active."

Chats are temporary by design A small notice on every chat reminds you: "Chats are auto-deleted 48 hours after a campaign ends." Treat messaging as a place for campaign coordination — anything that needs a permanent record (terms, deliverables, approvals) lives in the campaign or contract itself, not in chat history.

Chatting with a Creator

Click a conversation to open it. The header shows the creator's name (or the campaign title, if the chat is linked to one) along with an online-status indicator. Type your message in the box at the bottom — "Type a message to the creator..." — and press send. Messages show a read receipt (sending → sent → read) so you know whether the creator has seen your message, and a typing indicator appears when they're replying.

You can start a conversation with any creator directly from their applicant card or contract — clicking Message on the Applicants tab or Discover Creators opens (or jumps to) your chat with them.

Broadcasting to Hired Creators

On the Applicants management page, once you've hired more than one creator for a campaign, a Broadcast Message button appears next to the campaign selector. It sends the same message individually to every hired creator on that campaign — a tooltip clarifies: "Messages will be sent individually to all hired creators of this campaign."

Type your message and click Send to All. Each creator receives it as a normal direct message from you — there's no shared "group chat."

Why individual messages, not a group chat Sending the same update (a shoot reschedule, a brief clarification) individually keeps each creator's conversation private to just the two of you, while saving you from typing — or copy-pasting — the same message many times.
