How Campaigns Work
A complete visual walkthrough of the Zylolo campaign lifecycle — from a brand creating a campaign to a creator receiving their payout — so anyone can understand the full flow at a glance.
The Big Picture
Every campaign on Zylolo follows the same journey. A Brand creates the campaign, a Creator gets involved (by applying or being invited), both parties sign a contract backed by escrow payment, content gets made and reviewed, and the creator gets paid. Here is the full flow from start to finish:

How Money Moves — Escrow Explained
Zylolo uses an escrow system to protect both parties. The brand pays upfront, but the creator only receives the money once the brand approves the content (or the 7-day auto-approval window closes). Here is exactly how money moves:
Platform fees by subscription plan
Zylolo deducts a platform fee from the payment when escrow is released. The fee depends on the brand's subscription plan:
- Start plan — 16% platform fee
- Rising plan — 12% platform fee
- Scale plan — 8% platform fee
An additional 18% GST is applied on top of the platform fee. This is charged to the brand at the time of escrow deposit — the creator always receives the full agreed amount.
When does escrow release?
- Brand clicks Approve on a milestone — escrow releases immediately.
- Brand does not respond within 7 days — Zylolo auto-approves and releases escrow automatically.
- Brand rejects the content — escrow is held until an admin resolves the dispute.
Content Review — All Possible Outcomes
Once a creator submits content, the brand has 7 days to review it. Every path through that review is shown below.
Status Glossary — What Each Status Means
Every campaign, contract, and content submission has a status. Here is what each one means so you always know where things stand.
